Online Banking
At Community Bank we contribute to the communities we serve through our time, talents and contributions. We are dedicated to community involvement and believe it's our responsibility to give back to the communities that trust us with their financial well-being. We believe that part of our role as a community bank is to better the community for years to come. Our Officers, Employees and Board of Directors serve on boards for nonprofits and volunteer their personal time for a number of charitable organizations.
Donation Request Form
Coming together to do what's right for the community. To feed those who are in need.
The month of September, Community Bank collected donations for ECHO Food Shelf and Maple River Loaves & Fishes Food Shelf. Between the two organizations, over 140lbs of food was donated along with a donation of $920. That monetary donation will allow the two food shelves to purchase over $8,000 worth of food!
CB staff donate to wear jeans for a day! With their donation, they could vote for the organization of their choice. The organization with the greatest number of votes would receive the pool of funds.
The following have benefited from Community Bank Jeans for a Cause: FOCP BackPack Food Program, BENCHS Animal Shelter, Maple River Loaves & Fishes and Miracle League.
The bell ringing season starts each November and runs through Christmas Eve, when the red kettles are packed away for the season. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.
Exchanging their heels for a tool belt. Ladies of Community Bank spent a day helping build a house for Habitat For Humanity of South Central MN. Giving back to the community is one of our core values and we instill that in our staff also; providing them with opportunities to make a difference.
Shaving heads and wearing wigs. Employees of CB had a goal to raise $13,500 for the United Way 2021 Campaign. If the goal was met, two employees of the bank would shave their heads. The goal was in-turn surpassed with employees collectively donating $16,103.00! Bob Beadell & Mike Ogaard shaved their heads while Mike King wore a wig for the day.
Books for Kids is a Greater Mankato Area United Way program designed to instill the joy of reading in children by providing free books and parenting resources to families in our region. Capstone Publishing donates thousands of books every other month, which United Way distributes via mail to children ages 2 months through 4 years. Due to COVID-19, the mailing of these books were put on hold but are now in full force. Thank you to all the volunteers putting in hours to get these books out to the kids.
